2) Partial label scans - While running a business, I needed all of the information contained on the shipping labels of arriving packages. This might be understandable on a rare occasion, but nowhere near the frequency at which it actually occurred. Here was the progression: 1) Lost mail - Mail forwarded without a tracking number seemed to never arrive. Thing started out relatively fine, but an accumulation of worsening experiences motivated me to look elsewhere. I ran my business with Traveling Mailbox for about five years before making the decision to switch to another service. There are various resources available to report their incompetence as their practices are absolutely against the law.
Customers who continue to have similar issues with stolen and delayed mail can absolutely report them and file a complaint. I didn't keep this PMB longer than a month and a half before switching. These people are disgusting and unprofessional. The reality is that they dump all customer mail into boxes and forward it to their NC location and it isn't until they sort through the unorganized boxes to upload your mail at the NC location that they have any idea where the mail is. They're unable to tell you where your mail is because they "don't give that information out to customers".
The "founder" is quick to send out a message questioning why you cancel your subscription but I have yet to hear back regarding my complaint. When you contact them and ask basic questions they fail to provide any reliable information often dismissing your concerns and attempting to minimize the severity of their errors. On top of the 12+ days to be informed that they have your mail it'll cost a minimum $15-$20 to forward your mail and an ADDITIONAL 2-5 business days or longer to receive it. An additional fee of $5 is required if you desire for your mail to be sent out the same day. Additional fees are required if you're depositing a check.
#TRAVELING MAILBOX PLUS#
I had several pieces of mail sent to my PMB with reliable tracking, confirming each delivery date and I didn't receive a notification from traveling mailbox until over 12 days later on top of that you have to pay a forwarding fee between $2-$5 PLUS the shipping fee. They claim that they forward mail to the NC address to provide affordable rates however, several other virtual mailbox services are within the same price range and DO NOT take 14 days to obtain mail. Absolutely incompetent, unreliable, unprofessional, and lacks transparency.
